In the baseline survey conducted by Stairway Foundation, Inc. about children’s online experiences related to sexual and intimate contents, 44 % (1,081 out of 2,480) of students have had at least one online experience related to sexual content. The continuous increase of cybercrimes that involve children is one of the major problems that needs to be addressed by teaching children how to be safe in the digital world.

As teachers, it is essential to broaden our knowledge of child online protection to give us the confidence to protect our learners from harm. This training will serve as a guide in using the e-learning modules and session guides of Stairway Foundation, Inc. endorsed by the Schools Division Office (SDO) of Oriental Mindoro to be used as supplementary learning materials in the delivery of lesson instruction. Animations, video lessons, and interactive modules are among the content of this e-learning course, which will complement the overall goal of training teachers in championing child online protection.
